Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel felt like stepping back in time to the 1890s with its charming atmosphere and high ceilings. Room 153, although not spacious, exuded old-world charm with a high bed and wooden steps. The service was friendly and accommodating, though there were some instances of food rationing. The location was perfect for exploring nearby restaurants and attractions, just a short walk away from The Queen Anne. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with limited breakfast options but great nearby coffee shops. Overall, a unique and pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The rooms had a nostalgic charm, reminiscent of the 1890s, with towering 14-foot ceilings that perfectly matched the surrounding architecture. They were not only one of the best I've ever experienced but also incredibly spacious, featuring high ceilings, full-length windows, a walk-in closet, and thoughtful amenities like a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and real dishes. The cleanliness and tranquility of the rooms were outstanding.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the little kitchenette with a coffee maker. The service was extra friendly, and they even made fresh waffles. The location was excellent, just a block away from the St Charles trolley stop and great restaurants. The dining experience was below average, but the hotel had many positive aspects to offer.
